Kate combines experience with best practices to help community leaders make strategic community-centric decisions and build internal and external processes to become stronger, more stable organizations and get results using a strengths-based, relationship-oriented approach. She is committed to inclusive practices and offers an experience that is open, participatory, collaborative, thoughtful, and creative.
Leveraging 22 years in the field, Kate works with the education, health care, social justice, basic needs, children and youth, human rights, and arts sectors. Trained in Appreciative Inquiry, she is a champion of the positive and strengths-based approach to organizational development. She uses this transformative methodology to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Kate is an alumna of Leadership Greensboro and was recognized by the Triad Business Journal as one of the 40 Leaders Under Forty. Her hobbies include traveling with family and friends, attending arts and culture events, cooking from scratch, reading with cups of black coffee, running before sunrise, recharging in nature and taking pause.
